$1,380.00The "Spring Tidings" incense burner is our first product from our new artist studio, Qing Zuo. I met them during my latest trip to Jingdezhen and was immediately overwhelmed by the beauty of their hand-crafted incense burners.
When in use, smoke weaves through a lattice of hand‑pierced daisies, pooling in gentle eddies above eggshell‑matte porcelain. Four miniature panels, brushed in famille‑rose fencai enamels, show quails wandering among new shoots—soft pastel pinks and celadon greens caught in a moment of dawn light.
Quail in Chinese is a homonym of peace - both are read as "ān" - which makes this the perfect motif for enjoying a quiet moment with each burned cedar or sandalwood incense.
