Black or White Fen Yin Powder-Glazed Gaiwan by Cheng Wei
These fenyin powder-glazed gaiwan are each hand-made by our artist Cheng Wei. He elevates the fenyin technique with subtle vertical carved stripes that add texture and detail - and really highlight the powdery surface of the gaiwan. Either the black or the white gaiwan will make a sophisticated, yet simple addition to your teaware.
Note that after brewing tea, the white gaiwan's color will slightly darken - this is natural and means your personal tea times will contribute to the wabi-sabi aesthetics of your teaware in a way that is individual to you.
