Qin Glass

Wang Qin has been a professor at Glass Studio of the Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts since 2007. His glassware has been exhibited in Chicago, Hongkong, München, as well as at museums across China.

The colors and possibilities in glass are Wang Qin's obsession. Because of the extreme precision required in production of his artwork, up to 60% of his works don't meet his standards. When this happens, he personally smashes each piece with a hammer and begins again. This way, every piece that he presents to the world is perfect and precious.
