This amazing gaiwan is handcrafted by our artist Cheng Wei. During the firing process, a few small cracks appeared, which the artist repaired using the traditional silver nail kintsugi technique – patching the cracks and adding unique character to the piece. This gaiwan perfectly embodies the wabi-sabi spirit. A truly unique and rare piece.
