Brushed Platinum Pear-Shaped Teapot by Song Feng · 70ml

891 $618.00

Small enough to rest within the palm, this pear-shaped teapot is entirely handmade by ceramic artist Song Feng in Jingdezhen.

Its softly rounded body rises into a gently domed lid, balanced by a compact loop handle and a short, upward-curving spout. The familiar pear-shaped form feels full and beautifully proportioned, even at this petite scale.

Across the surface, hand-brushed platinum catches the light with a cool, silvery sheen—sometimes bright and reflective, sometimes deep and softly muted. Fine brush marks and subtle variations remain visible beneath the metallic surface, giving the pot a tactile, time-worn character rather than a perfectly polished finish. As the pot turns in the hand, the platinum shifts gently with the surrounding light.

At just 70 ml, the entire pot settles naturally into the palm. Its intimate size is particularly suited to small, concentrated Gongfu infusions, bringing the warmth of the tea close to the hand with every pour.

A quiet, familiar form transformed by scale, texture, and light.
