$380.00Small in scale and softly rounded in form, this Xiaomi 小弥壶 teapot is handmade by ceramic artist Zheng Bixin from traditional Chaozhou Zhuni clay.
The Xiaomi is a classic teapot form that has been part of Chaozhou tea culture for centuries. Its enduring shape is compact and beautifully balanced: a full, gentle body that settles naturally into the palm, paired with a small handle and slender, precisely formed spout.
Left unglazed, the Zhuni reveals its natural warm red tone and a fine, subtly textured surface. As the pot warms with tea, the clay feels particularly pleasing in the hand—an intimate quality made more noticeable by its small scale.
At just 90 ml, the pot is made for the rhythm of traditional Gongfu tea. Leaves unfold through a succession of small, concentrated infusions, fragrance gathering beneath the lid before being released with each pour.
