Huishan Red Clay Hucheng
These two hucheng are made by artist Cheng Wei as part of his Huishan series. They are made from hand-drawn ceramic clay and brushed with red soil to give it its unique mottled texture. The center pattern is inspired by the holes in antique Chinese copper coins.
