Around the compact body, the Eight Trigrams are shaped by hand into a quiet geometric rhythm. Their raised lines emerge gently beneath the pale celadon glaze, while a fine network of crackles spreads across the surface, becoming visible and disappearing again as the light shifts.
The silver-alloy lid is worked in open relief with the Three Friends of Winter—pine, bamboo, and plum blossom. Its dark, intricate surface creates a striking contrast with the cool, softly glazed ceramic below.
