Hand-painted ceramic teapot with an idyllic scene of cranes on one side and poem on the other. The poem is by Dai Shulun (732-789), who was a governor in the Tang dynasty. Only two of his poems have survived to the current day. This one is about the quiet rain on the shores that cranes enjoy.
