Handmade in Jingdezhen, this clay pitcher celebrates the marks left by the making process. Horizontal ridges travel around the rounded body in uneven lines, creating a rough, tactile surface that feels almost carved by hand. Against the deep charcoal-black finish, occasional flashes of warm reddish-brown clay emerge, giving each piece its own character.
The softly irregular rim draws into a subtle pouring lip, while a small loop handle offers a natural place for the fingers to rest. Nothing is perfectly uniform—the lines shift, the edges soften, and subtle variations in texture and firing remain visible.
