Handcrafted from genuine, old-stock Tussah silk fabric, these pouches embody the rich heritage of this unique silk. The fabric is created by coating silk with the sap of the Dioscorea cirrhosa plant, native to Guangdong, which is strong in tannins and then covering it with the mineral-rich pond mud from the Pearl River Delta. The result is a luxurious, one-of-a-kind silk product.
